SERAPE SMUGGLER
This industrial piece from the 1950’s was designed by Warren McCarter, who started his business in 1923, and had stumbled on the art of bending metal quite by accident. It is likely to have been traditionally used as an open filing cabinet, until it underwent some botox with its seat cushion being added at a later time.
